Job: Sr. Physician Services Coder

- 3-4 years Duties will include: auditing medical records to determine if billing reflects the care documented; identifying areas of exposure and revenue enhancement based on HCFA rules and regulations; providing education based on findings. Position emphasis based on procedural coding, Medical billing, teaching physicians regulations, and overall evaluation and coding; and other duties as assigned. Qualified applicants will possess: H.S. diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred; Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CCS-P) certification required; 3-5 years experience with professional coding and/or billing; clinical background strongly preferred; mandatory knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology; mandatory knowledge of medical terminology; strong interpersonal communication skills; and knowledge of CMS rules and regulations.
