Job: Medical Technologist

Department: Microbiology

The Medical Technologist is responsible for the independent performance of technical procedures including emergency and routine patient testing, quality control, and preventive maintenance. Participates in quality management processes as needed.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must possess a B.S. , M.T. (ASCP), HEW or comparable military training. One (1) year of supervised technical experience in a licensed clinical laboratory preferred. M.T. (ASCP) preferred. Must possess skills in Microbiology, and Immunology, processing of microbiology specimens.
