Jobing Description
We are seeking an Activities Director to organize activity programs at the community level for our residents and their families. Discover a rewarding career helping our residents improve their daily living skills by promoting resident socialization, expanding their personal interests, increasing their physical activity, and continuing their education.
- Successfully complete training as required by state regulations.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills.
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
- At least one year experience in conducting group activities.
- Knowledgeable in evaluating resident needs.
- Ability to supervise employees.
- Ability to set up and train volunteers.
- Must be 18 years of age and have completed high school or the GED.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
