ARINC's Airport Systems Division in Annapolis, MD is looking for a Program Manager to provide support in delivering airport projects on time and within budget. In this role you will apply project management skills and techniques, e.g. team leading, multi-tasking and financial management to deliver high quality projects.

Negotiate scope and terms with subcontractors.
Lead a diverse team of people to deliver successful projects exceeding customer expectations.
Understand and fully manage all financial aspects, including monthly cost analysis, adjusting spend plans, performing earned value analysis.
Understand the essentials and assist with the preparation of contracts.
Maintain project documentation in accordance with ISO guidelines.
Delegate work to appropriate people.
Use project management tools, such as MS Excel and MS Project to manage projects.
Specify, order, and monitor purchasing procedure to acquire equipment and authorize payment to suppliers.
Obtain system acceptance from customer and hand over project to Technical Support staff or Site Management which will enable them to rapidly pick-up the continuing life and needs of the system.
Prepare cost estimates and proposals for follow-on work.
Contribute to sales/marketing efforts, including customer presentations and be alert to new business opportunities directing them to appropriate sales staff.
Become knowledgeable of all ARINC Airport Systems products and services to add strategic value to customers needs.

Position will be considered in Annapolis, MD or Tulsa, OK Qualifications The successful candidate must have eight (8) or more years of job-related experience, which should include four (4) years of related experience as a Project Leader/Program Manager with total work experience ideally within the aviation industry.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Must be a self-starter with ability to manage day-to-day project issues autonomously.
Intermediate to advanced experience of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and other Microsoft Office tools as well as financial management experience.

Education/Certification: BA Preferred, work experience would be considered, PMP Certification highly desirable.
Amount of Travel Required for Position 25%-50%
