Job: Medical Coder - CPC Certified!

Inpatient and outpatient professional claims for claim coding compliance. Responsible for monitoring regulatory changes as they apply to coding in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Candidate must be a Certified Medical Coder (CPC or CCS) with a high degree of competence in the coding field.

Candidate must have experience working in an outpatient medical office, with a background in billing as well as coding.

Proficiency in ICD-9 coding is a must.

Knowledge of the CMS Hierarchical Coding Categories is preferred.

Ideal candidate will have coding experience from an outpatient medical office environment, knowledge of the managed care industry.

Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is required.

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records is a plus.

Must be certified!
