The Service Technician-Floor Care Specialist cleans floors, stairs, chairs and curtains in assigned areas. The Service Tech-Floor Care Specialist thoroughly burnishes all hard surfaces in assigned areas weekly as follow: dust mop, wet mop, burnish, then dust mop again, use Revive only; strips and wax all hard surfaces in areas annually per schedule. This includes bathrooms, corners, edges, and baseboards; thoroughly cleans carpet, according to schedule using only the liberator; thoroughly cleans fabric chairs, according to schedule using only the chair machine and correct chemical; replaces curtains in all areas, as requested; assists with set-ups, moving and lifting, as requested; returns all equipment in a clean orderly manner; tags and writes broken equipment in maintenance book (if minor).

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED or successfully complete a literacy assessment. Experience preferred.
