Jobing Description

  • Responsible for greeting patients and their families.
  • Collecting accurate patient demographic, insurance, and any other billing information required.
  • Accurately scheduling appointments in person and over the phone.
  • Obtaining insurance authorizations, both over the phone and on line.
  • Billing insurances accurately and timely.
  • Collecting co-payments and past due invoices.
  • Filing and light office cleaning.
  • Ordering and maintaining contact lenses.
  • Performing any other duties necessary to provide efficient and timely services to our patients and vendors.

  • Skills / Requirements

  • Customer service oriented person with prior optical experience.
  • Ability to learn quickly and be able to multi-task.
  • Computer oriented person with experience operating Officemate.
