Duties will include: Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of Department of Emergency Medicine informatics initiatives; develop, maintain, and expand Website content, administration tools, clinical tools and site functionality (including interactive applications and portals), according to specifications and requirements; create web pages and websites using HTML, PHP, MySQL, XML, Javascript, AJAX, LINUX: programming; design and code database driven web applications and sites; must have experience using MySQL server as back end to web sites; responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) Review, analyze, design, program, modify, develop and implement web based software programming applications. 2) Produce a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required. 3) Write and document code and complete programming 4) Produce test plan and implement them before release of web sites and/or applications to users 5) Maintain departmental servers 6) Serve as technical resource to department staff, faculty, and residents Qualified applicants will possess: Bachelor`s degree from four-year college or university in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer a minimum of 5 years experience in web design and programming and knowledge of XHTML, PHP, MySQL, XML, Javascript, Linux based networking. FLASH experience is preferred.
