The Clinical Nurse is responsible for independently implementing all aspects of the nursing process for all assigned patients including those with complex problems. The Clinical Nurse provides nursing care based upon the developmental needs of the patient/family/significant other. Identification of population/age specific needs of the patient/family can be found in the unit specific structure standards. The Clinical Nurse demonstrates competency in planning and implementing individualized care based upon the specific clinical needs of the patient.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

Must have graduated from an accredited school for registered nurses. Must possess a Maryland RN License. Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience. Critical care and/or PACU experience preferred. CPR-BLS certification required; ACLS must be obtained within one year of employment in the PACU, PALS preferred.
