Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard design engineering techniques, adherence to electrical engineering procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. General EE background with familiarity in a minimum of two of the following areas: computer architectures, digital and analog video systems design, VMEbus architecture, or familiarity with computer networks. Coordinates and performs various activities and functions associated with the completion of the detailed design. Includes interfacing with other functional groups such as drafting, checking, documentation management, engineering release, parts screening and verification, internal/external customer interfacing, and procurement.

Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing, internally developed software, creation of user libraries, etc…). Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must possess good leadership skills and present a positive can-do attitude at all times. Must possess effective organizational skills applicable to the management of engineering documentation and documentation of design change activity during the development phase. Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative design solutions to assigned tasks. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.


Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
