ILS Lead Program Specialist (6247)
Tracking Code 6247 Primary responsibility is to insure the full integration of ILS activities across the Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Performance Based Logistics programs to insure complete compliance with the program-s statement of work requirements. In addition, the ILS Program Specialist coordinates proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, and validates subcontractor estimation of product/service cost. Participates in formulating program plans and objectives for the PBL program. Will plan, organize and produce supportability plans for Shadow upgrades complete with logistical support analysis in approved DoD formats. Establishes subcontractor oversight controls and monitors adherence to contract requirements, reporting and justifying of costs through: Review and analysis of financial metric data; development, review and update of cost, status, risk and schedule for elements of the program from development to production deliveries. Establishes and monitors adherence to program plans, including schedule and risk management, subcontractor resource planning, and requirements management. Responsible and accountable for the cost, schedule and performance responsibility for ILS engineering and sustainment control accounts. Thorough understanding of all ILS elements a must and a solid foundation in EVMS preferred. Requires a detailed DoD ILS and logistical support analysis background suitable to lead support plan development for all TUAS engineering upgrades. Understanding of MIL STD 1388-1 & 2B applications. Skills / Requirements
Understanding of various hardware and software engineering technologies in a development environment. Knowledge and understanding of the procurement or acquisition processes for primary customers and markets. Demonstrated cost and financial management knowledge to include EVMS, program control control, profit and loss, cash and inventory skills. Understanding of applicable military and commercial specifications and standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9000/14001 requirements. Personal computer skills. (e.g., word processing, spread sheet, presentation graphics) Effective written and oral communication skills. Leadership and team building skills/experience are very beneficial. Ability to direct goal oriented activities of a diverse work force. Required Experience Typically requires a minimum of seven years of directly related experience in Project Management with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent education and experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties. Sound Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) experience a must. Solid background in US Military/DoD Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements either in military or DoD Aerospace front end ILS assignments. Master's of Business Administration with 5 years technical/work experience in ILS, DoD provisioning, or logistics support provisioning and supportability analyses preferred. Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) preferred. Membership in Society of Logistics Engineers/Int-l Society of Logistics preferred. This job posting is no longer available on Jobing.com.
