Primary Responsibilities:




  • Will be responsible for all preventive maintenance and repair on all machinery. Will set up schedules and track down time and costs of machinery repair.



  • Must be highly organized and be able to meet the demands of overseeing a crew of 8 over 2 shifts and 6 days.



  • Positions in this function support the vision operations (retail vision stores, production lab) of the business. Employees that are represented by a Union should be in the Vision-Union function.



  • Coordinates, supervises and is accountable for the daily activities of business support, technical or production team or unit.



  • Impact of work is most often at the team level.

Skills / Requirements


Requirements:




  • High school diploma or GED



  • 5+ years experience as a lead maintenance tech with LOH or Schneider machinery or CNC lathing machinery or as a hands on optical lab finish or surface supervisor



  • Knowledge of computerized robotic maintenance programs



  • 2+ years experience directing maintenance techs



  • Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards and rules


Assets:

  • Computerized maintenance program experience

  • Ability to ready mechanical schematics

  • Electrical experience

  • Pneumatics experience
