Pharmacist in Charge (Columbia, MD) F/T. Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians & other health practitioners & provide info to patients about medications & their use. Review prescriptions to assure accuracy. Provide info & advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, & proper medication storage. Ensure compliance w/ FDA regarding REMS drugs. Complies w/ state & federal drug laws. Supv Jr Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians. Doctor of Pharmacy Degr + 24 months of exp in job offered or as Pharmacist, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacist Manager, Registered Pharmacists or closely related Pharmacist position reqd. Must have valid Pharmacist License issued by the State of Maryland Board of Pharmacy at the time of hiring.
