    Are you flexible and detail-driven? This position offers both a challenging and fulfilling Production Artist opportunity as part of the ever growing Creative Team for OPTAVIA, USA.

    This role will oversee all production aspects while working in partnership with the Creative Manager during the creative process through execution for field marketing collateral, business kit materials and assorted digital efforts. The Production Artist will also partner with other corporate teams to generate successful print campaigns; including on-site and off-site event signage, recognition collateral, and training materials for Internal, Field and Client support teams.

    • Work closely with key stakeholders, outside vendors and suppliers to ensure all requirements, schedules, and print specifications are met and in place as well as resources secured for all marketing campaigns. While troubleshooting problems as they arise and offering creative solutions within budget.
    • Package and preflight files for release to printers or media partners using supplied specifications for several types of printing. During which time resolving any artwork issues that arise during production. Includes: image retouching, clipping paths, and additional color manipulation.
    • Creates PDF files for print and digital library, while maintaining a central document server smartsheet. Offering the organization and cataloging of production files for future projects. And revision monitoring.
    • Track all OPTAVIA print projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met. Review pre-production artwork, proofs and offer color correction as needed. Conduct press checks when applicable. Provide technical details to design staff for bidding and suggesting order quantities to assist with MOQ.
    • Help manage internal expectations and adaptation to changing timelines. Within the review process and before artwork release, by reviewing and approving mock-ups, hard proofs, digital proofs and such to ensure quality levels are met across the printed and digital brand collateral.
    • Establishes good chemistry, productive and respectful team relationships with creative staff, project managers, supply chain, and finance to ensure creative solutions to business challenges are uniquely compelling and OPTAVIA Coach and Client centric.
    • Maintains and monitors standards for the OPTAVIA brand. While taking into consideration all available opportunities for specifications such as; paper stock, finishes, varnishes, foil, flexographic printing, digital, web or other offset capabilities.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
    • 2 - 4 years’ experience in creative role or production artist experience.
    • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office.
    • Project management software experience, a plus.
    • Experience in off-set, digital, flexographic and web printing preferred.
    • Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Keen attention to detail.
    • Constant sense of urgency to complete projects on time, while being a process-oriented self-starter.
    • Core understanding of image types, naming conventions and compression standards for packaged files.
    • Continue to be up to date with new production techniques and trends through research and education.
