About the Position
We are currently seeking a therapist contractor to join us in our Silver Spring Clinic. This is a part-time fee-for-service position with the ability to build your case-load to up to 30 hours/week. We are currently seeking candidates who have the flexibility to provide services Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 5:00 PM. We will pay you 30% of services billed. This position is temporarily remote, however successful candidates must be willing to provide in-office/onsite services if needed. In this position, you would be responsible for:
Providing evidenced based treatment in various individual, group, and/or family therapy treatment modalities based on their privileging.
Providing quality intakes/ diagnostic assessments and possessing a demonstrated understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and use of the current DSM.
Providing crisis intervention services when required.
Providing services in conformance with the Recovery Model.
Other duties as assigned.

- I possess a current licensure in the State of Maryland (ie: LGSW/LGPC/LCSW-C/LCPC).
- I have a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field of study with two (2) or more years of related experience.
- I am passionate about working with clients who are chronically mentally ill
I have solid working knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
I work well individually as well as within a team.
I am patient and able to effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients.
I am able to identify clients who are in a medical crisis situation and follow the appropriate procedure (as instructed in company-provided training(s)).
